As a kid I'd fill my room with GI Joes, WWF wrestling figures, and superheroes, creating epic adventures that unfolded over weeks in my imagination. I love creating stories. If you ever see me staring off into the abyss, there's probably an adventure playing out in my head.

I always wanted to write one of these adventures, but the fear of what other people would think stopped me. A voice in my head would tell me that I'm not a writer. Who am I to try?

When my son was born I was able to quiet that voice long enough to start a short story about a rope swing from my childhood. It was a story I wanted to share with my son. That short story somehow turned into the adventure of Captain Henry and the Planets Guard.

This journey has helped me quiet that voice in my head and not care what others think about it. It's the journey Henry goes on, and I hope, it's one you take as well.

My 10 year old son has not willingly put this book down since it arrived yesterday. He is enjoying the story line and already can’t wait for the next book in the series to come out! It’s action packed and has wholesome messages. Kudos to the author!!
